The Central Board of Secondary Education, (CBSE) Delhi under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, Delhi has announced a project named "UDAAN" to promote professional Education Opportunity for Girl Students. This program is open for girl students studying in class XI and XII from all Boards in India and provides free of cost mentoring for meritorious girl students assisting them in their preparation for Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) for admission to IITs and NITs. The principal of RBDAV is the city coordinator for Punjab.
