Mahavir Jayanti celebrated on 19th April 2016 in the premises of the school. A special assembly was organized where speech in three different languages was delivered highlighting the importance of the day.Mrs. Mukta Jain delivered a speech in English ,Mrs. Sarla Sharma in Punjabi and Mrs. Payal in Hindi respectively.The basic idead is to make people understand the real virtues of life.
They said that Lord Mahavira deserved a special mention, as he was the one to establish the ethics that rule the whole Jain community.The entire biography of Lord Mahavira was delivered to the students.Mr. Pritpal Singh ( Music Department ) enchanted prayer in the name of Lord Mahavira. Shresha Jain ( class 9th F) receited a self composed poem in the name of Viraprabhu.
The Principal of the school Mr. Pramod Khursija said that it is the best way to emphasis the importance of Lord Mahavira and celebrate Mahavir Jayanti. He also said that the philosophies of Lord Mahavira are based on the sole purpose of improving the quality of life. He also said that the basic idea is to attain spiritual excellence by maintaining ethical behavior and motivated the students to follow proper code of conduct.
